Heather Dumser, PsyD, is licensed in Oregon and Washington state. She brings over a decade of specialized psychological experience to her private practice. She earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology and a Certificate of Gerontology from Pacific University in 2014. She completed advanced residency training within the Veterans Affairs (VA), specializing in geropsychology and palliative care.

Before entering private practice, Dr. Dumser spent several years working with Veterans and providing mental health care integrated directly into primary care settings. She is trained in clinical hypnosis and specializes in treating trauma, health-related life adjustments, grief, end-of-life challenges, and the emotional impacts of cancer.

Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Dumser enjoys hiking, gardening, watercoloring, mountain biking, paddleboarding, reading, and discovering delicious food.
